Blunt Club was packed and better than ever, this was the missing vibe that Red Owl was never able to capture! I saw it return to a vibe that was long lost at Hollywood Alley. Hope it is here to stay! Last night I decided to paint a little homage to my roots, a symbolic shoe- a small token to the Hip Hop stage of my wayward youth. It was Graffiti, Skateboarding and my association with the four Elements that got me where I am today.
Yesterday I did a cool Black and Grey Rose to fill in some space on this guy’s arm
Tonight I will be celebrating the start of Mario’s Birthday weekend at Black Forest Mill.
Tomorrow I will be attending Absurd’s Wild Party, Shit should be dope!

Last Night at Dirty Funk, Yucca tap Room I Painted the 2nd Soul Sista. I got a glimpse at the spot next door, shit looks pretty nice, It definitely knocks the Dive out of “Dive Bar” and looks pretty legit especially with all the fancy beer selection. I should’ve took pictures but I decided to leave it as a surprise for everyone that shows up at the Blunt Club Tomorrow.

The sunset today was extraordinary, a small sample in front of the shop. People should definitely step outside whenever they can specially when the weather is at best.

Tonight Blunt Club starts a new chapter at the Yucca Tap Room. Even though the new side room gallery isn’t ready yet, Talk is that it’ll open up next week.

I acquired an old beat up Eames Replica “Selig?” on Craiglist. I’m looking to restore it and get it reupholstered someday. Should be a fun project. The chair currently somewhat looks like this cept natty tan leather, but everything else seems to be intact.

Last night I decided to stay home and paint in favor of balancing my social life/ productivity as an artist. I ended up finishing a flash sheet that was outlined from last year but never got around to. I felt a bit rusty painting this, since it’s been a while and the paper was almost as smooth as a poster board.

A new Mediterranean/Jewish grocery just opened up next door to work. Among the various typos, something tells me its supposed to be gyro not…
I’m thinking about swinging by this spot for a minute, last time I was there I drank beer out of a glass boot.

Finally I was able to continue the progress of this tattoo. Its been a little more than half a year since I did the outline. Hopefully he’ll be back in a month or so. Then I can finish the whole thing once and for all.
Tonight I will be doing live art at the Blunt Club. This will be the last Blunt Club at Club Red/Red Owl.
The new location will be at Yucca Tap Room.

I know this post is several weeks over due. I got carried away on facebook but am trying to make this blog/site more of a priority perhaps install a plug in so when I update this blog it would make an excerpt on facebook/myspace?
